Hi! I'm Rachel Cameron, a speech-language pathologist from Langley, BC. I completed my Bachelor's degree in biology at Trinity Western University and my Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology at The University of Alberta. In 2016, I began my career working for Fraser Health in a public health unit where I provided speech and language therapy to preschool-aged children. I currently work part-time at a child development centre where I work with a variety of children with complex communication needs, and have the chance to regularly collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists and other colleagues. I believe in helping children achieve their goals through positive, engaging, play-based therapy sessions that include their interests. I am passionate about providing early intervention for children with autism spectrum disorder that involves parents and families, so that they can be empowered to target communication goals in natural opportunities throughout the day.
